The Whezzit is an A5 size print publication, listing hundreds of businesses in a number of towns in the Eastern Cape. Since 2002 the Whezzit introduces visitors and travellers to the Who, What and Where of our local towns. Holiday goers love to browse through the Whezzit for no apparent reason, only to discover things to do and places to go.
The internet is very much alive yes, but print is definitely not dead, not at all. Many people still find it convenient and even prefers to pick up a book to search for local businesses.
A new edition of the Whezzit appears every six months (July and December) and it is distributed through its advertisers to customers.
The phone section is particularly popular, listing the numbers of 1,300 businesses in 30 towns.
The Online directory is a reliable source of local business information on the internet. Business owners can list their businesses for free and are required to verify their listings once every six months to ensure their accuracy.
The Online directory is accessible at windcape.co.za and gives users access to business listings, events, projects and local products.
