The Wharf Street Brew Pub reflects Port Alfred in a bygone era. It is situated on the historic Wharf Street, housed in the oldest commercial building in Port Alfred built in 1853. The Wharf Street Brewery is wrapped in stone walls decorated with large black and white photographs for the interior.
The Wharf Street Brew Pub serve a variety of lunch and dinner delights such as steaks battered fish and chips. It indulges not only in excellent delights but is clearly a spot for wine and of course drinking beer. The Wharf Street Brew Pub has its own local micro brewery attached to it and sell three of Port Alfred's own beers.
The decor is simple with pictures of old Port Alfred being the focal point. The food is a selection of Pub Style food like fish and chips, schnitzels and burgers ranging to freshly caught line fish, in house matured steaks and a host of other things in between.
Anyone is welcome to visit and sample our local brew, you might well end up staying for a bite to eat as many do after seeing our menu.
